About The Position

For over a century Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company has been manufacturing pipe and fittings exclusively in the USA, employing 1,400 loyal, hard-working Americans. Today we manufacture the industry's broadest range of standard and specialty DWV products, including cast iron and plastic pipe and fittings. Charlotte Pipe is headquartered in Charlotte, NC, and has seven plant locations across the United States. There is an opening at our Corporate Headquarters for an Inside Sales Representative. We are looking for an individual ready to join our fast-paced and innovative team. Excelling in this role lays the foundation for future growth.

Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

Build a strong understanding of customer’s territory and manage a portfolio of customer accounts, determining service approach, prioritization, and communication strategy to meet customer’s needs and expectations
Analyze order demand, customer requirements, and operational constraints to recommend solutions impacting production planning, inventory allocation, freight costs and timelines
Independently resolve complex or escalated customer issues by evaluating options and selecting appropriate business actions
Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and management to address operational challenges and improve outcomes for both CPF and the customer
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to workflow, communication, and order execution
Interpret customer, order, and operational data to support decision making and provide insights to leadership
