About The Position

Serve as an Inside Sales Representative and Project Manager, guiding customers through the entire project lifecycle—from initial quote through final delivery. In this role, you'll act as the primary point of contact for customers, helping them identify the right solutions while ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience. Pre-sale responsibilities include educating customers, understanding and interpreting project requirements, developing project specifications, preparing estimates, and securing contracts and deposits. Post-sale, you'll coordinate order execution by partnering with technical services, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and to customer expectations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a sales or service-oriented industry preferred.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills coupled with detail orientation and organizational skills.
  • Strong professionalism and work ethic.
  • Sufficient personal computer and business software application use capabilities required.
  • A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Generate professional project estimates and drive sales of metal building systems, residential metal roofing, and component products.
  • Consult with customers to understand project requirements and recommend solutions that best meet their needs.
  • Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through order completion, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Enter sales orders into company systems and coordinate internal resources to ensure products and services are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle, providing proactive communication and ongoing support.
  • Manage post-delivery concerns, including damages, shortages, delays, order changes, and field-related issues, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Act as the liaison between customers and internal departments, facilitating communication and resolving issues to support successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through responsiveness, problem-solving, and strong relationship management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical Services, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
