About The Position

As an Inside Sales Representative/ Warehouse Associate based in Kitchener, ON your essential duties will be to directly service customers via phone & email on a daily basis. You will process orders, inquiries & quotations every day, consistently achieve a high level of customer service, and confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required. You will also make follow-up calls to customers on all quotations and make at least four (4) outbound calls per day to various customers to solicit additional business. Additionally, you will assist customers with any inquiries regarding e-commerce. In the warehouse, you will select orders for electrical parts and products, check for accuracy and pack for shipment. You will process and prepare paperwork for shipping including bills of lading, shipping invoices and freight costs. You will also receive and verify the accuracy of incoming shipments; correctly enter incoming inventory into the AS400 computer system. Process returns following established procedures and re-enter into a computerized inventory system. Maintain warehouse stock levels, participate in regular cycle counts and annual inventory. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to established Health & Safety procedures and practices. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of inside sales or customer service experience.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Product knowledge of the electrical business is a must.
  • Team Player.

Nice To Haves

  • AS400 experience would be an asset.
  • Electrical apprenticeship experience is considered an advantage.
  • Good to have Forklift license.
