About The Position

Roberts Oxygen, a leader in industrial, medical, and specialty gases and equipment, is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative in Hagerstown, MD. This role involves providing excellent customer service, general knowledge of welding products, and performing relief delivery driving when needed. The ideal candidate will have proven customer service skills, a passion for sales, and a Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or willingness to obtain them).

Requirements

2 years of inside sales and customer service, or welding experience
Excellent driving record; Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker (X) endorsements - or willing to obtain
Basic computer skills including internet searching, data entry, and ability to learn new programs
Demonstrate basic mathematical aptitude and function
Ability to lift 75lbs.
High school education or equivalent
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings

Nice To Haves

General knowledge of welding products and hardgoods
Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

Immediately and politely greet and assist walk-in visitors and customers, and promptly answer phones in a professional and courteous manner.
Process customer sales transactions efficiently while building trust and long-term relationships.
Support Sales staff/management by providing timely and correct customer information, follow-up scheduling, and fill-in branch coverage, including relief delivery driving duties.
Safely maneuver and load cylinders or other products on trailers and customer transportation.
Adhere to all company policies and guidelines as well as safety procedures.
