About The Position

Big Ass Fans is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for New Construction to drive growth by strengthening relationships with Channel Partners and key stakeholders in the New Construction vertical, including Engineers, Architects, Designers, and Contractors. This role involves developing a deep technical understanding of Big Ass Fans products and capabilities to guide partners through the sales process, from initial engagement to final delivery. The representative will collaborate with various internal departments such as Regional Account Managers, Commercial Leadership, Engineering, Product Management, Planning, Customer Service, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless customer interactions, strategic alignment, and to grow revenue and expand market share. The successful candidate will be a key driver of the company's success, helping to deliver powerful solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years proven sales and account management experience.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Travel required up to 15%

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with channel partners and new construction preferred
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with New Construction stakeholders—including Architects, Engineers, Designers, and Contractors, in both partner and non-partner territories to establish long-term, profitable engagement.
  • Support Regional Sales Managers in partner territories with product expertise, lead management, quoting, and partner/contractor training.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact in any ‘open’ territories. Nurture relationships through training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and project objectives, and provide timely and effective tailored recommendations, and drive mutually successful outcomes.
  • Proactively identify New Construction growth opportunities and build commercial relationships with all relevant project participants.
  • Practice Commercial Excellence by managing a growing opportunity pipeline focused on driving spec and close rates.
  • Build and manage proposals and quotations in CRM, with focus to close sales and exceed quarterly quotas.
  • Input customer orders as needed to support Sales Operations.
  • Conduct market research to identify key stakeholders and achieve consistent engagement, including remote presentations and technical consultations.
  • Coordinate and participate in trade shows, customer visits, and partner meetings to increase awareness and engagement.
