About The Position

Serve as an inside sales representative and project manager to coordinate customer support activities from quote to delivery. Pre-sale job duties include educating the customer, understanding/interpreting project requirements, developing project specifications, providing quotes and obtaining contracts and deposits. Post-sale job duties include sales order entry, order coordination with technical services, manufacturing and delivery. Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new customer opportunities while building strong relationships within your territory. Consult with customers to understand project requirements, provide product recommendations, and develop solutions that meet their needs. Prepare professional project estimates and quotes for metal building systems, residential metal roofing, and component products while actively following up to secure new business. Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through order completion, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Review orders thoroughly with customers prior to submission to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements. Enter orders into company systems and coordinate with internal teams to ensure products and services are delivered accurately, on time, and according to customer expectations. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, providing exceptional service and timely communication. Resolve post-delivery issues including shortages, damages, delays, changes, and field-related concerns while maintaining customer satisfaction. Ensure all sales activities comply with company pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures. Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to address concerns, communicate project updates, and support successful project outcomes. Monitor market activity, competitive trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Deliver a high level of customer service by providing responsive support, accurate information, and proactive follow-up. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customers receive the best possible experience from quote through delivery. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned in support of business objectives.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency with computers and business software applications required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales, customer service, inside sales, or service-oriented environment preferred.
  • Strong customer service, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
