About The Position

We are seeking an Inside Sales person for our Metal Service Center. This role involves quoting and processing orders, developing customer relationships, and acting as a liaison between customers and the production team. You will also assist and support the Senior Sales Manager.

Requirements

• 2 year technical degree or equivalent.
• Computer skills, Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a metal fabrication/manufacturing industry.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP manufacturing software.
• Knowledge of plasma cutting, sheet metal working, welding and fabricating.
• Ability to read engineering drawings for detail and fabrication purposes.

Responsibilities

• Take order requests by phone, email, and counter.
• Develop accurate and timely pricing.
• Process paperwork for sales orders.
• Develop relationships with customers.
• Communicate between the customer and the production team.
• Assist and support Senior Sales Manager.
