About The Position

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing inside sales team to deliver exceptional customer service while driving revenue growth. This role oversees day-to-day sales operations, ensures consistent execution of sales processes, and supports the team in meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. The Inside Sales Manager plays a key role in strengthening customer relationships, optimizing workflow and CRM utilization, and aligning sales activities with company goals. This position also partners closely with branch operations and outside sales to ensure a seamless customer experience from inquiry through fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading or mentoring a sales or customer service team
  • Strong background in inside sales, customer service, or account management
  • BA in Business or related field and/or 5+ years of relevant sales leadership experience
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems to manage pipeline and customer data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales and performance targets

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the inside sales team to deliver outstanding customer service and sales performance
  • Establish and monitor individual and team sales goals, providing ongoing feedback and performance management
  • Promote the “Echelon Way” by fostering a customer-first culture and best-in-class service standards
  • Oversee daily sales activity including quoting, order processing, and customer follow-up
  • Utilize CRM and ERP systems to track opportunities, ensure pipeline accuracy, and improve team productivity
  • Collaborate with outside sales and branch operations to support account growth and customer satisfaction
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and process improvement
  • Ensure timely and accurate handling of customer requests, pricing, and order fulfillment coordination
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new inside sales team members
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and assist with escalations as needed
