About The Position

The Inside Sales Manager is committed to providing excellent services. You will be responsible for providing rapid response, managing inbound/outbound inquiries, reservation requests, customer calls and emails for business supporting an existing client base. This includes maintaining, and growing relationships with ESA accounts. The Inside Sales Manager will play a fundamental role in achieving revenue goals and winning opportunities. A winning attitude and a willingness to embrace a fast-paced environment will be key to success in this role.

Requirements

  • Fluent in the English language.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills including effective listening.
  • Demonstrate effective negotiation skills.
  • Critical problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of ESA, hotel, and travel industry.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to meet/exceed goals and achieve performance metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; must function well under pressure and remain positive and constructive under stress.
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Some travel is required -- typically 10-20%.
  • Associates degree, at least 3 years sales experience; or the equivalent combination of the two.
  • Must be pro-active and knowledgeable of creative sales activities and client interactions.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include infrequent morning, evenings and/or weekends.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, CRM.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
  • Hotel sales experience, particularly in the extended stay niche, is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up and win inbound sales through prompt response to all leads ensuring all reservation requests and inquiries are completed timely.
  • Achieve individual and team revenue, performance, and response goals and other performance metrics assigned.
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the Business Development team for advanced qualification.
  • Work collaboratively with Regional Revenue Managers as well as Regional Director of Field Sales to negotiate rates and determine appropriate placement.
  • Use effective sales and negotiating skills to achieve rate targets in pursuing and winning business.
  • Maintain accurate customer information within CRM.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, inquiries, and incoming requests simultaneously.
  • Meet team performance, revenue, and booking benchmarks.
  • Maintain productive, professional relationships with internal support partners, clients, and team members.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough documentation of all sales activities and entries within the CRM program.
  • Participate in periodic sales promotions, and sales activities as appropriate.
  • Communicate proactively with leadership to provide needed information and support and ensure collaborative efforts across the company to drive sales effectiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Earn the confidence and respect of others through a positive and energizing style.
