Requirements

  • Must have a quiet, dedicated home office space free from distractions for at home work days
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales or customer service experience required
  • Must obtain Personal Lines Insurance License within 30 days (training and exam fees covered by AAA Northeast)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • Outbound or cold-calling sales experience strongly preferred
  • Insurance sales experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high volume outbound sales calls to prospective and existing AAA members to promote personal lines insurance products.
  • Actively generate and follow up on sales leads through warm leads, outbound calling, referrals, and CRM tools.
  • Provide personalized insurance quotes by gathering coverage needs, verifying underwriting guidelines, and offering competitive options.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Develop working knowledge of Life & Commercial lines for referral opportunities to licensed agents.
  • Learn and adhere to carrier-specific underwriting and quoting procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies in quoting, binding coverage, and handling payments.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting and Quality Assurance to reduce risks and ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations and best practices.
  • Deliver AAA's Five Diamond Service standard to all members, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
  • Foster trust and long-term relationships with clients through consistent, knowledgeable follow-up.
  • Represent AAA Insurance in a positive manner while liaising with insurance partners, real estate agents, auto dealers, and other industry contacts.
  • Cross-sell AAA memberships and promote other relevant services when appropriate.
