About The Position

AAA Northeast is seeking motivated sales professionals to join their team as Inside Sales Insurance Agents. This hybrid position offers paid training and covers all costs associated with obtaining your Personal Lines Insurance License. The role involves an outbound sales environment with opportunities for growth in the insurance industry. The training period is 4-6 months, conducted virtually, followed by a hybrid work schedule with specific in-office days. The role is initially assigned to Providence, RI, with a potential transition to Lincoln, RI.

Requirements

• Must have a quiet, dedicated home office space
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years sales or customer service experience required
• Must obtain Personal Lines Insurance License within 30 days (training and exam fees covered by AAA Northeast)

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree preferred
• Insurance sales experience preferred
• Outbound or cold-calling experience strongly preferred
• Life License within 1 Year Preferred

Responsibilities

• Sell auto insurance, homeowners insurance, and other personal lines products to AAA members via phone and online
• Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective and existing members to promote insurance products
• Provide personalized coverage options and premium quotes
• Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system
• Participate in sales programs and respond promptly to referrals
• Learn and follow carrier-specific underwriting and quoting procedures
• Ensure compliance with agency policies for quoting, binding coverage, and handling payments
• Collaborate with Underwriting and Quality Assurance to reduce risks and ensure accuracy
• Stay current on insurance regulations and best practices
• Build strong relationships with clients and industry partners
• Occasionally travel for training (approx. 5%)
• Deliver AAA Five Diamond Service in every interaction
• Cross-sell AAA memberships and other relevant services
