About The Position

Proconex is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Inside Sales Engineer - Recent Graduate to join their team in the Process Control industry. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn sales skills, as no prior sales experience is required. The position involves supporting customers in selecting the right solutions for their needs and receiving comprehensive training to develop sales expertise. The Inside Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing existing accounts and providing technical support to customers.

Requirements

  • Recent Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physics or equivalent experience
  • Eager to learn sales skills.
  • Desire to learn more about industrial or manufacturing process equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interest in sales and customer engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Learn about our products, industry applications, and technical solutions.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries, providing basic technical guidance and recommendations.
  • Prepare and manage quotes for mechanical equipment, ensuring timely delivery & follow-up.
  • Support the sales team with quoting, order processing, and customer follow-ups.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to understand product specifications.
  • Participate in ongoing sales and technical training to enhance your skills.
  • Utilize advanced ERP system to perform order entry, acknowledgement, status checking and expediting.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by developing strong relationships with customers and understanding their needs.
  • Provide technical support to customers by answering questions and providing solutions to their problems.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and promotional materials.
