FASTSIGNS® of Syracuse is a locally owned and operated sign and visual solutions company that helps businesses bring their ideas to life. Every project we take on is custom, and our team plays a hands-on role in turning concepts into real, visible results you can see around town. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, people-focused Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is more than just answering phones—it’s about being the face of our center and guiding customers through creative, customized solutions that help them “Make Their Statement.” No two days are the same. One moment you may be quoting graphics for a fleet of vehicles, and the next you’re helping a local nonprofit prepare for an event you might even attend. If you enjoy variety, creativity, and seeing your work come to life in the real world, this role is for you.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy (small mistakes can be costly)
  • A true people person who enjoys building relationships
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced, visual, and hands-on environment
  • Comfortable with technology, including CRM systems and cloud-based tools (Google Workspace, POS systems, etc.)
  • Enjoys variety, creativity, and problem-solving
  • Willingness to continuously learn industry-specific products and solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in, phone, and email inquiries
  • Consult with customers to understand their vision and recommend tailored solutions
  • Prepare accurate quotes and detailed work orders (attention to detail is critical)
  • Manage multiple projects at once, ensuring timelines and expectations are met
  • Coordinate with design, production, and outside sales teams to keep projects moving
  • Support outside sales and project management teams as a strategic partner
  • Maintain and update customer information in CRM and POS systems
  • Follow up with customers and build long-term relationships
  • Occasionally visit customer sites for surveys and consultations
