We're seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator to join a growing truck equipment center where you'll play a critical role supporting sales operations, managing customer relationships, and driving successful project execution. This is more than a traditional inside sales position. You'll serve as the central point of contact between customers, outside sales representatives, suppliers, technicians, engineering teams, and production management, helping bring custom truck equipment solutions to life. Requirements

  • 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, sales support, or technical customer-facing experience
  • Experience processing quotes, purchase orders, sales orders, and warranty claims
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in commercial truck equipment, vehicle upfitting, manufacturing, automotive, industrial equipment, or related industries
  • Parts sales experience
  • Quoting or estimating experience
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and supplier information
  • Experience supporting an outside sales organization
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate quotes for standard and custom truck equipment installations
  • Research specifications, materials, labor requirements, pricing, and lead times
  • Collaborate with suppliers to obtain pricing and source equipment
  • Support outside sales representatives by preparing competitive proposals
  • Analyze historical quotes and build data to improve future estimates
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers by phone, email, and in person
  • Guide customers through product selection, pricing, and order status updates
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining exceptional service standards
  • Provide proactive communication throughout the sales and installation process
  • Process sales orders, purchase orders, and warranty claims
  • Maintain accurate records within the ERP system
  • Track order progress and communicate timelines, updates, and delays
  • Monitor work-in-process orders and coordinate with internal departments
  • Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Product Support teams
  • Visit the production floor to gather technical information and validate equipment details
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability and timely fulfillment
  • Support municipal and custom equipment projects requiring specialized specifications
  • Utilize Excel and ERP systems to track orders, generate reports, and analyze data
  • Maintain organized documentation for quotes, warranties, service requests, and customer communications
  • Assist with sales promotions, process improvements, and branch initiatives
