About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Coordinator to join our Sales team and play a key role in growing customer relationships, supporting proposal development, coordinating marketing activities, and improving our sales process. This is an ideal opportunity for a technically minded sales professional who understands HVAC systems and applications and enjoys working at the intersection of sales, engineering, marketing, and project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with education or experience in HVAC Technology, Marketing, and/or Project Management.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in HVAC, engineering, sales, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, applications, and markets.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, schematics, RFQs, and regulations.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to understand and calculate margins, profitability, percentages, and other business-related figures.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project coordination skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and related business/design software.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, engineers, sales professionals, management, and external partners.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Inside Sales initiatives to generate new business and increase sales opportunities.
  • Manage and grow relationships with key house accounts to drive customer retention and repeat sales.
  • Monitor and follow up on leads generated through the company website and Inside Sales activities.
  • Coordinate proposals and technical information between Sales and Engineering.
  • Review customer specifications, drawings, schematics, and RFQs to help determine appropriate equipment and solutions.
  • Assist with specification verification, deviations, substitutions, and exceptions.
  • Manage customer change orders and monitor proposal terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate project schedules and timelines and communicate status to customers when needed.
  • Participate in customer visits, design reviews, and follow-up meetings.
  • Oversee CRM usage and configuration to track sales activity, opportunities, and performance.
  • Coordinate with our outside marketing firm and provide technical input for website content and sales literature.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our sales processes and customer experience.
  • Support product innovation initiatives by providing technical and customer feedback.
  • Maintain current technical and industry knowledge through professional development and industry involvement.
