About The Position
Founded in 1912, Nehring produces bare/insulated copper and aluminum wire and cable products for the utility and electrical distribution markets. Nehring is proud to “bring the power” that is driving our nation’s grid expansion efforts to support the electrification of vehicles. Nehring also partners with its customers to respond to natural disaster events such as hurricanes, ice storms and tornadoes to restore power to communities. Due to the substantial growth driven by these market forces, Nehring needs to hire an Inside Sales Associate to support its commercial initiatives. Requirements
- Work onsite in DeKalb.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, intermediate-level Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to exhibit confidence and professionalism to external parties.
- Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Experience performing transactions in an ERP environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Interact with existing customers and outside sales agents to manage/develop relationships and source new sales opportunities.
- Provide price quotes, product information, production scheduling and shipping information to customers.
- Coordinate with production to determine shipping schedule.
- Interface with outbound freight companies to ensure seamless delivery of products.
- Monitor and update customer price sheets.
- Compile and distribute sales reports.
- Assist with the return material authorization (RMA) process for customer-returned product.
