About The Position

The Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily coordination of the sales department. This position ensures correctly entering orders, implementing bi-annual or annual sales price increases, maintaining sales reports and coordinating accurate job information for project-related sales. The successful candidate will report to the McKinney office daily and perform job-related functions primarily from this location. Occasional travel and customer in-person calls may be necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Strong knowledge of customer relations and sales.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excel, Google Maps (or other mapping software), and Microsoft Teams proficiency.
  • Strong critical thought process.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in multiple formats.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is favorable.

Responsibilities

  • Enter order information into the company POS system.
  • Implement bi-annual or annual price increases in the POS system and maintain orders by local/county/state sales tax requirements.
  • Collect, input, and track complete and accurate job information for project-related sales.
  • Maintain sales reports to support the sales team and fulfill customer information requests.
  • Analyze customer purchasing data to optimize sales efforts and identify potential customers.
  • Track progress against the sales plan and forecast daily sales by location and product.
  • Assist the sales team by gathering necessary information to prepare quotations.
  • Collaborate with staff from other inter-company departments to reach or exceed sales goals.
  • Coordinate training and scheduling for sales staff.
  • Maintain supplies of sales presentation materials.
  • Compile, analyze, and present market information as directed by management.
  • Manage the Credit Application process by gathering all necessary information to approve or decline customer requests for credit accounts.
  • Manage incoming customer inquiries for pricing, order placement, and delivery for both non-account and account customers, with guidance from the sales team.
  • Accept customer-delivered orders, schedule third-party hauling, and manage dispatch.
  • Create a new sales order in the POS system and secure all job-specific information (necessary for liens/bonding).
