About The Position

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Account Specialist's primary responsibilities are to protect and grow existing revenues, maximize HID installed base market share, and strengthen product selection policies through strategic planning and relationship building with HID customers within North America. The Inside Sales Account Specialist must effectively identify new project opportunities throughout multiple levels within customer organizations including senior management and all subsequent departments essential to advancing HID Global's market position. Candidate must effectively manage all sales, service and other challenges associated with HID Global products and services. Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent training and experience in sales, territory sales or customer service preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years overall experience
  • Effective sales skills and up to date telecommunication skills.
  • Demonstrated time management, communication, decision-making, presentation and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and complete short-term and/or long-term tasks and project assignments on time
  • Professional appearance and presentation required.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 years sales experience in the Access Control Marketplace preferred.
  • Proven & verifiable track record of successful quota achievement.

Responsibilities

  • Introducing and selling products to new and current customers, increasing sales and meeting individual and team sales quotas.
  • Building and managing the sales pipeline by entering all communication notes, commitments, and sales opportunities in SalesForce.
  • Performing sales activities and negotiating/closing business, passing orders to customer service for processing.
  • Independently creating product awareness.
  • Assisting management with devising plans and strategies for the market.
  • Identifying and contacting prospective customers to determine product needs and performing introductory sales presentations to match company's products with identified needs.
  • Building relationships with potential clients and identifying and recording decision-making units.
  • Remaining knowledgeable of company's products to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Providing follow-up with customers and prospects to ensure customer satisfaction with products provided.
  • Being responsible for responding to requests for information or requests for quotes from Web site visitors, email and phone contacts within assigned territory.
  • Listening and probing to understand clients' needs and being capable of communicating these effectively.
  • Being proactive in attitude and willing to learn new processes and procedures, contributing to the development of the position.
  • Taking responsibility for all actions and resolving open issues selecting and using available HID Global resources.
