About The Position

GCG is seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Account Manager to join a specialized team focused on supporting data center customers and partners. This role involves building business relationships with key decision makers and suppliers in the Data Center Infrastructure market, expanding GCG's presence in this sector. The position offers a remote work arrangement with a preference for candidates in the Central Time Zone.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, engineering, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Demonstrated track record of success with 5 years of business-to-business inside sales experience, preferably within the Data Center space.
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment.
Strong customer service orientation and follow-up skills with the ability actively pursue new business opportunities.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
Previous experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM system.
Previous experience with Oracle or comparable ERP system.

Responsibilities

Develop in-depth familiarity with GCG Data Center solutions to provide best-in-class customer support and educate customers about products, applications, pricing, and availability.
Understand the market to support strategic growth plans, ensuring that annual goals are achieved.
Nurture relationships with GCG customers and suppliers to increase sales revenue as product offerings continue to expand.
Manage purchasing and coordination specifically for drop-ship orders from suppliers, ensuring that customers and stakeholders receive frequent order / shipment status updates.
Research and prospect for new business leads and expanded business opportunities within targeted markets utilizing a consultative sales approach that facilitates return business.
Create and execute a plan to hit year over year revenue growth targets.
Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements with customers and vendors as the book of business steadily grows.
Demonstrate all aspects of the sales process including cold calling and prospecting, handling objections, closing, and follow-up.
