About The Position

The Inside Sales Account Executive, Inbound Channels is a dynamic role responsible for developing new prospects to increase sales of ZipRecruiter's products and/or services. You'll engage with prospective customers through a variety of inbound channels, including phone calls and live chats, while also being proficient in making outbound reach outs. This role requires a sales-savvy individual who can efficiently manage their time across multiple communication platforms and sales tasks, providing direct support to Sales Managers to meet departmental growth targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inbound sales environment, ideally with a combination of phone and chat experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals/quotas.
  • Highly coachable, willing to listen to and implement advice from management.
  • Resourceful, consistently overcoming obstacles to achieve success.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and enjoy the challenge of tight deadlines and managing a variety of duties.
  • Proficient typing ability of at least 45 words per minute (WPM).
  • Experience fielding leads via inbound channels (inbound calls and chat preferred).
  • Prior sales experience is essential.
  • Must be located in the Greater Phoenix area.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with inbound prospects via phone and chat to convert them into new business for ZipRecruiter.
  • Proactively engage in outbound dialing and emailing to nurture leads and develop new business opportunities.
  • Hit or exceed your monthly new business quota.
  • Manage an active pipeline of prospective customers, assuming responsibility for the entire sales cycle: opening, appointment setting, presentation, and close.
  • Demonstrate strong closing and negotiating skills to secure new accounts.
  • Exhibit a high need for achievement and competition; you love to compete and win.
  • Possess strong organization and time management skills to effectively balance inbound and outbound tasks.
  • Maintain an enthusiastic, optimistic, and resilient approach to sales.
