About The Position

The Inside Retention Representative, PEO position is a remote role focused on marketing and generating sales of insurance products through existing agents/brokers. Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2+ years professional experience in a related selling or telemarketing environment.
  • Understanding of insurance and PEO products preferably attained through working in a PEO marketing or selling program.
  • Good knowledge of PEO plan features, benefits, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Active Life & Health License must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Exchange; proficient in web browsers, specifically Google Chrome.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively in a team sales environment with PEO Specialist to coordinate all retention and new sales activity as needed to assure the fastest, easiest, and most trusted benefits selling experience.
  • Maintain increasing knowledge of PEO industry markets, products, and legal environments to provide a value-added service to agents/brokers.
  • Work to effectively service agents/brokers’ renewals and to encourage them to grow their clients’ business by providing information on PEO administrative procedures, product availability, and the value each creates for the customer.
  • Offer direction around the appropriate strategy to renew and place new business.
  • Place outbound renewal calls; follow up on proposals for renewals.
  • Conduct regular follow-up calls to agents/brokers, to maintain current accounts and market our services.
  • Involve Benefits Sales Executive as appropriate with assistance in closing new cases and adding product lines as needed.
  • Assist agents/brokers in presenting our products to clients by joining client/broker calls as needed.
  • Organize and send Request for Proposals (RFP) to PEO partners.
  • Follow up with brokers for missing RFP information.
  • Prepare finalist presentations for presentation to the broker and or client.
  • Arrange technology presentations to broker and or client.
  • Utilize internal systems (Salesforce, Zoom, etc.) for activity tracking and metrics.
  • Coordinate with partner PEO resources as needed to maximize results; manage any renewal data received from our PEO partners.
  • Adhere to BenefitMall confidentiality standards of information.
  • Resolve conflicts, solve problems, and provide feedback to management.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
