Requirements

3-5 years current related experience
Ability to read blueprints and machine to exact specifications
Skill in machining threads, tapered shafts, and precision components
Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality
Ability to work safely in dynamic industrial environments
A mindset rooted in accuracy, consistency, and teamwork
US Citizenship Required

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience operating lathes, mills, drill presses, and surface grinders
Shipyard Inside Machinist experience

Responsibilities

Operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and surface grinders to machine precision components.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate measurements, tolerances, and final specifications.
Machine threads, tapered shafts, and other critical ship components.
Maintain machining tools and equipment in safe, optimal operating condition.
Work in various shipyard environments and support production requirements.
Must be available to work any shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
