About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers both in person and over the phone, addressing inquiries, and recommending appropriate products. They will accurately process orders, quotes, and sales transactions, while managing inventory, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. The role involves resolving customer concerns, collaborating with other departments, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and attention to detail are key to building customer trust and loyalty. The position also requires adherence to health and safety guidelines and regular attendance. Other duties may be assigned to support the sales team and enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

A degree or 2+ years of sales experience.
Must have a hunter sales mentality.
Must be a motivated self-starter.
Ability to build relationships with a variety of clients.
Ability to manage time effectively.
Truck Parts background/knowledge is required.
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk or workstation.
Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Ability to navigate the sales floor or warehouse area to assist with inventory management or product organization.
Ability to bend, squat, or kneel occasionally to access lower shelves or storage areas.

Responsibilities

Provides exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
Communicates effectively with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products, offering accurate information about products and services.
Greets and assists customers in person, answering their questions and addressing inquiries with a positive, helpful attitude.
Processes customer orders, quotes, and sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods while ensuring transaction accuracy.
Maintains product knowledge to effectively recommend and sell appropriate products, ensuring customers are fully informed.
Manages inventory levels, assists with restocking, and keeps the sales counter and work area organized and clean.
Resolves customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring positive resolutions and customer loyalty.
Prepares and processes orders for pickup or delivery, ensuring proper documentation and timely order fulfillment.
Collaborates with other departments to fulfill customer needs, ensuring the smooth completion of orders and high satisfaction.
Maintains a positive, professional relationship with customers, building trust and loyalty through consistent, high-quality service.
Assists with maintaining a safe and secure work environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
Performs other duties as required to support the team and enhance customer experience.
