About The Position

The Inside Auto Claims Adjuster is responsible for investigating basic and occasionally moderately complex auto insurance claims. This role may handle non-represented claims and requires evaluating coverage, determining liability, and negotiating settlements. The adjuster works directly with claimants, insureds, and other involved parties to ensure timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim resolution. Work Location & Schedule: During Training: IN OFFICE Monday through Friday, 8am-4:45pm After Training: HYBRID (IN OFFICE & REMOTE) Hours: Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with occasional Saturday Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule – 3 days in office (Monday–Wednesday), 2 days remote (Thursday–Friday) This position is not available for California, Alaska, Washington, and Hawaii residents. Notice of Licensing Requirement: As a condition of employment, you may be expected to obtain an adjuster’s license in multiple markets. All required licenses must be obtained within 60 days of hire. You must maintain all licensing required for your role. This includes any continuing education and/or other state-affiliated requirements for licensing renewal. This role offers a $1,000 sign on bonus if you have an active adjuster license in TX, FL, or your resident state. Current employees and former employees seeking rehire at Allstate or its affiliated companies are not eligible for this sign-on bonus. Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards throughout the claim lifecycle.
  • Investigate minor to moderately complex auto accidents and prepare clear, concise claim summaries.
  • Conduct recorded statements with claimants, insureds, and witnesses.
  • Evaluate auto claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
  • Negotiate and settle claims in alignment with established guidelines and best practices.
  • Maintain detailed and well-documented claim files, including notes, summaries, and decision rationale.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient and customer-centric claim handling.
