About The Position

As an Inside Collaboration Account Executive, you will play an integral role in accelerating revenue growth across named accounts within the SMB segments. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customer executives and IT leaders, guiding them through their workplace transformation journeys leveraging Cisco's industry-leading Webex and Collaboration portfolio.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quota-carrying B2B technology sales experience, priority will be given to those with a focus on Collaboration solutions, Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Cloud, or SaaS platforms.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced, competitive market.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate sales cycles from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and closing.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience selling Cisco Collaboration, Webex Suite, Contact Center (CCaaS), or adjacent enterprise communication platforms.
  • Familiarity with "as-a-Service" (XaaS) subscription models, software buying programs, and recurring revenue motions.
  • Proven success co-selling with value-added resellers (VARs), system integrators, and channel partners.
  • Experience utilizing structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, Command of the Message) to position business value over feature/price discounting.
  • A proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills, high learning agility, and a commitment to customer advocacy and team success.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute sales strategies across an assigned SMB accounts, driving adoption across Cisco's full suite of Collaboration solutions.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain high-trust relationships with key decision-makers across IT, Line of Business (HR, Sales, Operations), and executive leadership (C-suite).
  • Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities to consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Collaborate closely with Cisco Certified Channel Partners, Distribution Partners, and internal Specialist teams to scale pipeline generation and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Build and present ROI-driven business proposals, total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses, and strategic presentations that demonstrate the value of Cisco solutions.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineers and Technical Architects to map technical architectures to customer business outcomes, ensuring long-term customer success and adoption.
  • Maintain disciplined forecasting, account planning, and opportunity management, providing clear pipeline visibility to sales leadership.
  • Advocate for your customers by sharing market feedback and competitive insights with product management and marketing teams to continuously enhance Cisco's portfolio.
