About The Position

Seeking an Inpatient Wound Care Center RN for a full-time position. The role involves various functions related to specialty preparation in stoma care and education, skin care, and incontinence management. The nurse will act as a consultant for physicians, nursing staff, hospital personnel, and home care staff. Responsibilities include assessing patients, recommending treatments for wounds, skin care management, and pre- and post-operative stoma care, serving as the primary educator. The nurse will also plan and implement nursing care to ensure continuity from hospital to home for ostomy, wound, and continence patients, and evaluate treatments.

Requirements

  • Diploma RN
  • Current Indiana RN License
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider
  • Must complete required training for Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care within one month of hire
  • 2 years of RN experience

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities
