Inpatient Therapist - PRN/Per Diem
About The Position
Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is an innovative behavioral health hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix, Arizona metro area. Our 120-bed facility will offer specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults and older adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co-occurring addictions. The Inpatient Program Clinician provides clinical social services and therapeutic treatment skills to enable patients to achieve their optimal level of emotional and behavioral health. The Inpatient Program Clinician is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, discharge planning/ case management services, making referrals, crisis intervention and acting as a liaison with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.
Requirements
- Masters' Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Professional Counseling
- Minimum of one-three (1-3) years’ experience working with a psychiatric behavioral health population, preferably in an inpatient setting
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Licensure in area of specialty (i.e. LAC, LPC, LMSW or LCSW) required
