This role involves conducting Biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, making referrals, and providing various forms of counseling including individual, couples, family, and group therapy. The therapist will also be responsible for crisis intervention, developing safety plans, and providing supervision, consultation, education, and training for other program staff and graduate-level interns. Additionally, the position may involve clinical review and supervision of other clinicians or subcontracted programs, ensuring timely completion of paperwork, and documenting in the agency’s electronic medical record. Case management, discharge planning, and participation in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings are key aspects of the role. The therapist will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to enhance clinical competency and ensure thorough client care. This role may also involve acting as a liaison and providing consultation, education, and information to community agencies. The ability to multitask, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism under pressure is essential, as is maintaining client confidentiality and complying with all relevant policies and regulations.
