Inpatient Social Worker/ Case Coordinator (LWS) Full Time
About The Position
Join our inpatient team Full Time! The Social Worker counsels individuals and facilitates groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, or family situations and develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans in a medical setting. They work with the patient and family to create a discharge plan for the patient. The Social Worker also uses therapeutic interventions to assist the patient in crisis situations and participates in the multidisciplinary treatment team to discuss patient care, treatment plan goals, and discharge planning. Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48-bed private, free-standing psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, OH, offering a private, confidential, and non-institutional environment conducive to healing and recovery. Arrowhead provides a variety of specialized services for adults and is part of Universal Health Services, Inc., a large and respected provider of hospital and healthcare services.
Requirements
- MSW (Master in Social Work) or BS (Bachelors in social work) or Masters in Counseling
- LSW or LISW or LPC
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Diplomacy and discretion are essential.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Professional demeanor and appearance required.
- Ability to work productively and independently.
- Must follow the security and confidentiality guidelines as well as the policies and procedures of Arrowhead Behavioral Health.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility is preferred, but we are willing to train a new graduate excited to learn.
