About The Position

Processes orders and patient charges accurately and efficiently. Answers telephones and call lights promptly, providing information or relaying messages. Directs visitors and maintains medical records. Manages supplies, including scanning, stocking, ordering, and disposing of expired items. Provides patient care as assigned, following established standards and procedures. Documents care provided and maintains a clean work and patient environment. Floats to various units as needed and participates in performance improvement activities. Verifies charge accuracy and facilitates a welcoming environment. Assembles patient folders and charts, and sets up Rauland responder/Vocera/versus for new staff.

Requirements

Completion of a CNA program.
Nursing Assistant Certification in applicable state.
Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days.

Floats to various units based on identified needs.
Participates in department and unit performance improvement activities.
Verifies accuracy of charges entered.
Facilitates a welcoming environment assisting with visitor wayfinding.
Assemble patient folders and charts for unit.
