We are looking for a Inpatient Rounding RN to join our collaborative team at Memorial Health! This role involves using the nursing process to deliver patient care, facilitating multidisciplinary rounds on select patients, and serving as the central hub of clinical coordination. The Inpatient Rounding Nurse prepares for daily bedside rounds, reviews patient history and condition, collaborates with primary nursing staff and ancillary disciplines, provides timely updates to providers, coordinates patient care partner and/or family involvement, assists with communication of discharge goals and plans, reinforces patient education, and aligns prioritization for rounding efficiencies and discharge expedition. The nurse will coordinate communication regarding patient progress and plans related to discharge, document findings, and attend daily Grand Multidisciplinary Rounds. Additionally, the role includes performing nursing delegations, completing wound assessments and documentation, assisting with departmental staffing, maintaining competencies and mandatory education, and fulfilling license requirements.
