Inpatient RN
About The Position
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for assuring the delivery of quality nursing care for a designated patient or group of patients. Care is provided in accordance with individual patient needs, physician orders, hospital and departmental policies, NEC's PSO Guidelines, the Indiana Nurse Practice Act, and the ANA Code of Ethics. Using job performance standards, the RN provides clinical nursing leadership and delivers quality care based on research to achieve mutually agreed-upon goals. The RN maintains confidentiality regarding patients, significant others, and health care team members, and participates in efforts to improve nursing practice.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Provide a current RN license issued by the Indiana State Board of Nursing.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in mental health-related nursing is preferred.
