About The Position
This is a Per Diem Registered Nurse position in the Observation Unit at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. The role involves providing patient care in an inpatient setting with varied schedules, including evening and night shifts. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Required certification for respective nursing departments.
- Bi-annual CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
- 9th Floor Only: ACLS certification within two years of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the Observation Unit.
- Work varied schedules, including evening and night shifts.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
