Inpatient RN NICU
About The Position
This position is for an Inpatient Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves a 90% FTE work schedule, consisting of three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with rotating weekends and holidays. The compensation package includes competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. Additional compensation components include shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend hours, as well as opportunities for overtime and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois
- Bi-annual CPR certification
- NRP by end of orientation
- STABLE certification within 1 year
- RNC certification within 3 years of hire
