About The Position
This is a full-time, 90% FTE position for an Inpatient RN in the NICU at UW Health Women and Children's Hospital in northern Illinois. The role involves evening/night 12-hour shifts. Additional compensation includes shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, as well as overtime and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Bi-annual CPR certification.
- NRP certification by end of orientation.
- STABLE certification within 1 year of hire.
- RNC certification within 3 years of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the NICU.
- Work 12-hour shifts during evening/night hours.
- Participate in shared governance structure.
- Contribute to employee voice.
