About The Position

This position is for an Inpatient RN in a Medical Surgical unit at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The work schedule is 90% FTE, working from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, every other weekend and every other holiday. Additional compensation components may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
Bi-annual CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
Community nursing experience (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
Specialty certification in area of concentration.
ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).
