About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Medical Surgical unit at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves 12-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, working 90% FTE. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- Must possess a current, valid driver’s license issued by the individual’s state of residence.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
- Community nursing experience (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
- ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a Medical Surgical unit.
