About The Position

This is a 100% FTE position with 4-10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday. The role includes on-call requirements for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a 30-minute response time. The position is located at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. Additional compensation components may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
Must provide a copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
Bi-annual CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

Community nursing experience (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
Specialty certification in area of concentration.
ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).

Responsibilities

Perform GI/Bronchoscopy Procedures as an Inpatient RN.
Be available for on-call duties, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a 30-minute response time.
