About The Position
This is a full-time, 90% FTE position for an Inpatient RN in Critical Care at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in northern Illinois. The role involves working day shifts from 7 am to 7 pm, with every third weekend rotation after initial courses are completed. Additional compensation components include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime pay, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- ACLS certification required within one year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a critical care setting.
- Work day shifts from 7 am to 7 pm.
- Rotate every third weekend once initial courses are completed.
- Participate in overtime and on-call duties as required.
