About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves working 3-12 hour shifts, initially with every other weekend coverage, transitioning to every third weekend after completing CCU courses. The position offers competitive pay with significant shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, as well as potential for overtime and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- ACLS certification required within one year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Unit.
- Complete initial CCU courses.
- Work 3-12 hour shifts.
- Provide nursing care during evening, night, and weekend shifts as scheduled.
