About The Position

This is an Inpatient RN position specializing in Chemotherapy Oncology at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves working 3-12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The position offers competitive pay with significant shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend work, as well as potential overtime and on-call pay. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
• Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
• ONS Chemotherapy Provider Card.
• Previous chemotherapy administration experience of at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy to oncology patients.
• Provide inpatient nursing care.
• Work rotating weekends and holidays.
• Participate in shared governance.
