About The Position
This position is for an Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) in the Center for Mental Health. The role involves working 80% FTE with 12-hour and 8-hour shifts, specifically from 11:00 am to 11:30 pm and 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. The position requires rotating weekends and holidays and is located at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- CPI within 6 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
- ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient nursing care in the Center for Mental Health.
- Work 12-hour and 8-hour shifts.
- Rotate weekends and holidays.
- Adhere to Basic Life Support/CPR certification requirements.
- Obtain CPI certification within 6 months of hire.
- For 9th Floor Only: Obtain ACLS certification within two years of hire.
