One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our IRF COORD RN (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Coordinator RN), you will assess patients for admission to the Acute Rehab Unit (ARU), ensuring appropriate placement and facilitating comprehensive rehabilitation care. Every day you will educate healthcare workers on medical necessity documentation and functional improvement measures, promoting accurate and compliant record-keeping. You will also submit accurate regulatory reports within defined timeframes. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate expert clinical assessment skills, a thorough understanding of rehabilitation criteria, and meticulous attention to detail in documentation and regulatory reporting.
