About The Position

This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals while specializing in sterile compounding and infusion therapy support. In this role, you'll contribute to the preparation of sterile medications, help ensure exceptional patient care, and make a meaningful impact every day. The Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient 2, under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, prepares medication orders, and assists in dispensing & transporting medications. This position also conducts sterile and/or non-sterile compounding, uses various automated/electronic systems and maintains the required documentation & records.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• <2 years experience
• No Supervisor Experience
• State Bd Pharm Registration
• Pharmacy Tech Certification

Nice To Haves

• 2-5 years experience

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality assurance standards and required documentation; maintains regulatory cleanliness compliance.
• Assists in the preparation of medication orders, to include workflow management, basic preparation & dispensing, and non-sterile compounding.
• Uses automated/electronic systems to manage product preparation, inventory, patient records, and regulatory compliance.
• Supports various inventory activities, to include inventory storage, ordering, rotating, beyond use dating, and cleanliness.
• Pursues proficiency in compounding sterile preparations and/or other advanced skills.
