About The Position

This is a 13-week contract assignment for an Inpatient Pharmacist at a rural critical access hospital. The role involves supporting multiple departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Med-Surg, and the Emergency Department. The pharmacist will work a Monday-Friday day shift schedule (7:00/7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM) totaling 40 hours per week, with rotating weekend coverage every 3rd weekend (Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM). The position requires the ability to work independently, particularly during weekend shifts, and adaptability to a smaller facility setting. Housing availability may be limited.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacist experience
• Active New Hampshire Pharmacist license (or willingness to obtain upon offer)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Must be willing and able to work independently
• Must reside 50+ miles from facility (no local candidates)
• Pharmacist skills checklist required at submission
• One supervisory reference (within past year) required
• Complete work history and permanent address required

Nice To Haves

• 2–5 years total experience preferred
• Critical Access Hospital experience highly preferred
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Omnicell experience preferred
