The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant reports directly to the Clinical Manager and/or Assistant Clinical Manager (ACM) of their respective department, and practices under the general supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for individual and group treatment programs designed to assist patients of all ages with various cognitive, perceptual, behavioral, and physical disabilities to optimize their highest level of functioning in activities of daily living, in accordance with the plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist.
