About The Position

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Occupational Therapy Assistant for a part-time inpatient role. The assistant works alongside occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide individualized patient treatments, support rehabilitation goals, and help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. Care is delivered one-on-one to people of all ages and ability levels, using personalized treatment plans, methods, equipment, and techniques intended to enhance healing and reduce the risk of re-injury. This position is 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE), with variable, flexible day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday. It is benefits eligible. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited occupational therapist assistant school.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong team orientation.
Strong computer and office equipment skills.
Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state of Nebraska.
Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire; certification must be from an American Heart Association (AHA)-endorsed program for new hires starting January 1, 2023, or later.
