About The Position

The Inpatient Night Pharmacist position supports hospital pharmacy operations overnight on a fixed 7 days on and 7 days off rotation. The Inpatient Night Pharmacist shares coverage with other pharmacist team members for a significant portion of the shift and is supported by a strong core technician team. In addition to providing medication verification and dispensing services, the Inpatient Night Pharmacist serves as a drug information expert supporting providers and nurses on a care team. Onsite BLS, ACLS and PALS certification provided. FTE: 1.0, Shift: Fixed, Schedule: 7 nights on and 7 nights off staffing rotation. Requirements

Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)

Responsibilities

Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutions
Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate records
Supervise support personnel and assumes responsibility for final check of all completed work
Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services
Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care service
