About The Position
Central Florida Behavioral is a private psychiatric center offering a full continuum of multidisciplinary care that includes inpatient/acute care, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services. The programs serve children, adolescents and adults with general psychiatric, substance abuse and dual treatment diagnoses. Position Overview: Employment Type: Inpatient General Psychiatrist, 1099 Independent Contractor Schedule / Hours: On-site Monday-Friday schedule Call: 1-2 nights a week after hours telephone call, 1:4 weekend rounding Patient Volume: up to 24 patients a day with assistance if needed, ages 18 and older Location: Orlando, FL Practice Setting: Inpatient Adult Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Social Workers and Therapists
Requirements
- BC in General Psychiatry is required
- Active or eligible FL license
- Active DEA
Responsibilities
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
- Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
