Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic clinical team at Keck Medicine of USC, located in Los Angeles, CA. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) with at least 2+ years of acute care experience
  • Experience with diverse patient populations, including critical care and nutrition support
  • Strong ability to collaborate with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
  • Self directed, flexible team player with strong communication and time management skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
  • 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree and/or specialty certification preferred
  • Experience with PI/QI initiatives preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide nutrition care across a diverse patient population, including critical care and nutrition support
  • Educate and collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff; demonstrate strong interdisciplinary relationship building skills
  • Participate in Performance Improvement / Quality Improvement (PI/QI) initiatives with an interest in advancing best practices
  • Willing and eager to learn new processes where prior experience may be limited
  • Precept and mentor Dietetic Interns
